NDC’s Francis Akabo Atsu laid to rest

The late Francis Akabo Atsu, Director of Elections for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the North Dayi Constituency, was laid to rest on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Tsyome Sabadu in the Volta region of Ghana. National, regional, constituency, branch executives, Members of Parliament and sympathizers of the NDC were present to wish their comrade farewell.

The National Executive Council of the NDC was represented by General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah and Director of Elections, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah.

Volta Regional executives of the NDC included; Regional Chairman, Mr. Henry Ametefee, Vice Chairman and Former MP. for North Dayi Constituency, Hon. George Loh, Secretary, James Gunu, Director of Elections, Pascal Agbagba, Organizer and Deputy Communications Officer. Executives of the North Dayi Constituency were all in attendance.

Members of the Minority caucus in Parliament were also present to sympathize with their colleague, Hon. Joycelyn Tetteh, MP. for North Dayi Constituency. They included; Hon. Della Sowah, MP. for Kpando Constituency, Hon. Betty Krosby Mensah, MP. for Afram Plains North Constituency and Hon. Mohammed Adams Sukparu, MP. for Sissala West Constituency.

On behalf of the family of late Francis Akabo Atsu and the people of North Dayi Constituency, Hon. Joycelyn Tetteh expressed her gratitude to the party for joining them in laying their brother, father and son to rest. May our brother’s soul rest peacefully in the bosom of our Lord.
