The Office of the Vice President has asked the public to ignore images and stories of one “Ramatu” who is being referred to as, the wife of Vice President, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
In a communique signed by Spokesperson to the Vice President, Gideon Boako.PhD, dated March 12, 2021, “ the Vice President has never met or seen this purported Ramatu let alone take her as a wife” He also added that the Vice President has only one wife, Samira Bawumia. According to Vice President’s spokesperson, the stories are deliberate falsehoods and propaganda targeted at tarnishing the image of the Vice President. Below is a copy of the press statement
